With the Steigenberger Grandhotel Petersberg, guests from all over the world combine fascinating history, spacious architecture and an unique view of the beautiful Rhine Valley. In the former guest house of the federal government, great statesmen and crowned heads have already resided and made important decisions.

As part of the extensive renovation work, with a volume of over 35 million euros, since August 2018 a new culinary offer has been presented to the guests, which is characterized by great versatility and exclusivity.

With its extensive banquet area, the hotel is particularly popular as an exceptional venue for events of all kinds. The 112 renovated rooms and suites are stylish and luxuriously furnished, with either park or Rhine views bookable.

Ferdinand Wine & Dine:
With top-quality wines and light cuisine, with recipes from wine regions from all over the world, everything at Ferdinand revolves around coziness, hospitality and enjoyment. Those who enjoy wine and delicious food will be welcomed into an exclusive wine club, bringing culinary variety into everyday life. On the terrace you can dine in a Mediterranean ambiance and enjoy a unique view of the beautiful Rhine Valley. Ferdinand regularly hosts wine events and wine-growing evenings in an exclusive ambiance.
The restaurant is named after Ferdinand Mülhens, previous owner of the Petersberg property and former owner of the world famous 4711 Cologne Water and Perfume Factory.

Bills Restaurant & Grill:
This elegantly decorated grill room with its terrace overlooking the Rhine serves delicious steak, fish and crustacean specialties, high-quality regional dishes and an international variety. The view of the Rhine Valley and the surrounding Siebengebirge is unique. From here you can enjoy the most beautiful sunsets. The restaurant was named after Bill Clinton, the 42nd President of the United States. In 1994, he met with Chancellor Helmut Kohl on the Petersberg. The pop art pictures in the grill room were created by Horst Kordes, a well-known student of Friedensreich Hundertwasser.

Charles Restaurant & Grill:
Our Bistro Charles is distinguished by its classic French style. Here you can relax with coffee and cake, regional specialties and a wide selection of French delicacies. The summer terrace offers the most beautiful view of the Siebengebirge, the Rhine and shady spots under pollard lindens. The namesake is Charles de Gaulle, the first French President after the Second World War and one of the most important French politicians of the 20th century. On the occasion of his state visit in September 1962, he dined with Chancellor Konrad Adenauer on the Petersberg. The Bistro features original works by the artist Bernd Schwarzer, which hang alongside well-known artists such as Georg Baselitz and Anselm Kiefer.

Beer Garden:
The spacious terrace, overlooking Königswinter, Bonn and the most beautiful sunset over the Rhine, can accommodate 300 guests. With a cold drink, coffee and cake, as well as a wide selection of hot and cold dishes, you can while away the time in the sunny spaces or in the shade of the flowering pollard lindens.

Coming from Bonn:
Take the Konrad-Adenauer-Bridge A 562 onto the A 59 direction Königswinter.
Follow the A 59, it becomes the B 42. Take the exit „Königswinter“, turn left at the traffic light and follow the L 331 for about 2 km.
The driveway to the Petersberg is on the left.

Coming from Cologne or Frankfurt:
Coming via the A3, take the exit „Siebengebirge / Königswinter“
And follow the signs on the L 331 to Königswinter for about 8 km.
